A discussion of the use of the harmonic series and how
it relates to establishing the most frequently use intervals for setting
the equal temperament will be presented. This will be followed by a
discussion of the use of an interval chart showing the beats for each
interval used in tuning the equal temperament. This technical should
prove useful for those individuals who are in the process of learning
how to tune aurally.
