Sean will cover some aural tuning fundamentals to help establish an exam quality temperament. We will briefly touch on some practical checks for use in the bass & tenor/treble areas.
Finally, we will discuss interval ear training as it relates to aural tuning. Ear training is used by musicians who do not have perfect pitch as an aid in identifying the distance between notes as opposed to individual note names. How is it done, and how is it helpful in tuning?
